Drum design

Buckau-Wolf discontinuous centrifugals have a very lean drum design.

Advantages

  • Maximum separation performance through very high spinning factors of up to 1,500 g
  • Colour removal up to 98 %. The residual moisture in white sugar massecuite can be reduced to as little as 0.5 %.

Minimal usage of water- and energy

Buckau-Wolf discontinuous centrifugals work with minimal water resources to avoid sugar loss and an extremely low power consumption of less than 1 kWh/batch in the production of white sugar.

Buckau-Wolf controller

Buckau-Wolf discontinuous centrifugals use a controller developed by BWS Technologie which fulfils extreme requirements of our customers.

Buckau-Wolf continuous centrifugals C2500 and C3000 continuous centrifugals are used to process viscous massecuite produced from sugar cane or sugar beets, in particular raw sugar, low-grade product, low-grade product affination, and sugar substitutes.

Buckau-Wolf continuous centrifugals offer a variety of benefits:

  • Excellent ease of operation due to low housing height
  • Easy sampling of the white run-off, green run-off, and sugar at the operator level
  • Long service life through well-dimensioned bearings with a reinforced drum shaft
  • Robust, low-vibration bearing construction. Drive motor and bearing at the same level, therefore no relative movement to each other

In addition, BWS Technologie GmbH offers an option to integrate a monitoring system for continuous analysis and diagnosis of all rotating parts as well as a function for the automatic transfer of status and error messages via text message or e-mail.
