B-Series


The Supraton® B series stands out for its compact design. Drive motor and tool are connected via a directly coupled shaft so that the bearing module that is in the S series can be omitted. At a low to medium shearing effect, the B series produces good to excellent high-shear mixing results with regard to emulsification, dispersion, and reaction.


High-quality materials, from duplex stainless steel to metal-ceramic combinations, ensure high wear resistance.

The Supraton® B series tools are axially symmetric, which makes them suitable for both directions of rotation. Both flanks can be used if wear occurs.

  • Dynamic product viscosities up to 20,000 cP/mPa s
  • Particle sizes of up to 15 mm
  • Temperatures up to 200 °C
  • Pressures up to 8 bar

S-Series


The Supraton® S series enables first-class high-shear mixing results for various processes like emulsification, dispersion, and wet grinding. Supply of small product quantities by stator injection directly in the shearing zone ensures optimum, consistent homogenisation results.


The Supraton® S series areas of application include

  • Dynamic product viscosities up to 200,000 cP/mPa s
  • Particle sizes of up to 20 mm
  • Temperatures up to 240 °C
  • Pressures up to 20 bar

Advantages of the S series

  • External, oil-cooled bearings for high drive performance and temperature resistance in continuous operation.
  • High-quality materials, from duplex stainless steel to metal-ceramic combinations, ensure high wear resistance.
  • Tools suitable for both directions of rotation due to axially symmetric design. This allows the use of tooth both flanks if wear occurs.
  • Application-related further development of tools to optimize the efficiency and performance of a rotor-stator system.
  • Excellent rotor stability, even with extremely high dynamic viscosities and at high speeds, ensures high reproducibility of product quality and reliable process scalability.

Bitumen homogeniser

Supraton® bitumen homogenisers are used in the production of polymer-modified bitumen (PmB). These machines enable particularly efficient mixing of polymer – especially in the form or granules – into bitumen. The insert is based on a three-stage rotor-stator tool and has proven itself for many years, especially for single-cycle processes.

The features of the bitumen homogenisers 349-5, 449-5 and 549-5.03 speak for themselves

  • Task-specific tool geometry, especially useful for single cycle and high polymer content
  • 3-stage rotor-stator tool for feed, shearing/breakdown and dispersion, in particular of granulated polymer and similar materials in bitumen
  • Work gap adjustment for energy-conserving start-up through hydraulic, axial shaft adjustment
  • The standard setting OPEN/CLOSED for start-up, shutdown, and pumpover can be complemented with variable control as an option
  • The high pumping effect of the machine supports the supply pump, or even makes it unnecessary in many cases

SANITARY series

The Supraton® inline homogeniser of the Sanitary series are especially suited for use under strict hygiene requirements:

  • No deposits due to special 4-stage rotor-stator tool in a gap-free, monolithic construction
  • Freely selectable direction of rotation for tools due to symmetric design, thereby use of both tool flanks and increased lifespan of the tooth and chamber tool
  • Strong pumping performance of the machine often makes additional pump unnecessary
  • Special transmission of force through direct coupling with HF motor; variable speed from 2,000 to 6,000-1

Laboratory machines

Supraton® S100 is highly suitable for developing new processes.

  • Compact unit: 600 mm x 500 mm x 900 mm (L x W x H)
  • Single-acting, product-lubricated floating ring seal for low-viscosity applications
  • Double-acting floating ring seal with thermal syphon system to supply sealing and cooling media for high-viscosity applications
  • Heating jacket available for high-temperature applications
  • Equipped with a frequency inverter for variable speed control (3,000 – 17,000 min-1)
  • Excellent scalability

Supraton® PIN machine

The Supraton® Pin machine is used for processes involving high viscosity and high flow rates to achieve excellent blending results if the product or process is particularly shear-sensitive.
